Martinis In Puerto Rico Part 1

The beach bar bartender at the hotel told me she couldn't make a martini for me since she only had gin and not vermouth or olives. I asked if she could shake up some Tanqueray and make it cold. She said she could and asked if I wanted a twist of lemon with it. I said I did. It came in a plastic cup and the effect just wasn't the same as that of a regular martini.
