Martini with Brunch

Dale and I headed to Pizza Luce for brunch after church. He got eggs while I got the apple quinoa pancakes. Oh, and I had a Tanqueray martini.

On my own tonight for cocktail hour. Listening to Radio Deluxe with John Pizzarelli. Highlights from tonight's show include Get Happy by Tony Bennett, Dinah by Joe Venuti and Zoot Sims, and The Joint is Jumping by Fats Waller. Cocktail #1 is a Tanqueray martini. Drink #2 while listening to Sinatra and Friends? The same.

Cocktail Hour - Friday October 18, 2013: Music

Last night's cocktail music was Bachelor Pad Royale from the Ultra-Lounge series. The Theme From "Our Man Flint" by Elliott Fisher really stood out to me for some reason. It has a fun space age-y vibe to it.

Warren had his regular libation: rum with club soda and Rose's lime juice. Sadly I didn't have any real limes on hand for a garnish.

Warren and Gary came over for drinks and dinner last night. Gary and I had Tanqueray martinis. Mine was very dry, of course. Gary's? Not so dry. He likes a bit more vermouth than I do. Dale had wine.
