Very hot today. My iPhone tells me it's 91 degrees right now. Was cooped up in a building with no AC today. Drinking rum and Cokes (actually Coke Zero) and sitting on the porch while listening to Mondo Exotica from the Ultra Lounge series. Very pleasant all around.

Ordered the Sacrificial Virgin cocktail at Psycho Suzi's last night.

Birthday Shot

Found and bought some tiki shot glasses a couple days ago. Went online to find some shot recipes and found a site called drinklab.com. I found a very simple one for pink gin. All it is is a shot of gin (I used Tanqueray) and a splash of cranberry juice. It went down just fine.

Opened up the Mermaid Lounge on the porch. Drinking Hendrick's martini and listening to Cabaret Mañana by Esquivel. My brother is in town and took his family to a noon Twins game. Waiting for a call to find out where we're having dinner. I'm sitting on my front porch now.
